Dialogue
is crucial to making good cinema and TV - and yet screenwriters all too
often allow their dialogue let them down.
In this workshop we will help you strengthen your dialogue and find
your individual voice, showing clips and script extracts from the best
screenwriters, using exercises to liberate your writing
skills and giving feedback on your work.

VISUAL WRITING
Tune
up your visual storytelling skills.
A successful screenwriter must know how to create cinematic impact on
the page, developing a distinctive and personal descriptive style for
film and TV. But exciting, visual scripts are very rare and even
experienced writers can fail to find the right words.
In this workshop you will learn to use picture and sound to fire the
emotions of both reader and audience, to create rich and exciting
visuals in the eye of the
reader and strong screen atmosphere and drama.

Charles Harris (UK)
Charles Harris is an experienced award-winning writer-director for
cinema and TV who has worked with top names in the industry from James
Stewart to Spike Milligan, Ricky Tomlinson and Alexei Sayle. As script
consultant, he has helped writers from Britain, Europe and USA, sat on
BAFTA awards juries and lectured on MA courses at London University and
London Film School.
